The fire safety and evacuation assistant is a function of the Preventive fire protection , the need for which arises from the fire regulations Part C and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, ASR 2.2, the German statutory accident insurance (DGUV) and in the fire protection elements from DGUV Information 205-023.

common causes of fire/examples of fire, e.g. B. Activities involving flammable and combustible substances
company-specific fire hazards/ignition sources

Fire protection regulations of the company according to DIN 14096:2014-05 "Fire protection regulations - rules for creating and posting"
Alarm routes and means and company-specific fire protection equipment
Ensuring your own escape route - safety signage according to ASR A1.3 "Safety and health protection signs"
• Function and effectiveness of fire extinguishing equipment
Fire classes A, B, C, D and F
Mode of action and suitability of extinguishing agents
Structure and function of the fire extinguishing equipment available in the company
Areas of application and rules of use for fire extinguishing systems and wall hydrants

• Fire hazards
Hazards from smoke and respiratory toxins (e.g. carbon monoxide)
thermal hazards (e.g. thermal radiation)
mechanical hazards (e.g. from parts flying around)
special operational risks (e.g. metal fires, grease fires or high fire loads)

• Behavior in case of fire
Alarm and operation of the fire extinguishing equipment without endangering yourself
Ensuring the independent escape of employees
if necessary, special tasks according to fire protection regulations part C (e.g. contact persons for the fire brigade)
